Andy Vockler is the owner of IN 2 FLY and in conjunction with good friend Nial Logan has been involved in the booking of The Villages since 2008. Andy has been flyfishing for nearly 30 yrs. both in Australia and internationally and he recognises the importance of good solid advise based of experience when it comes to fly fishing travel. During his time of involvement,Andy has spent in excess of 55 Weeks on Christmas Island and at The Villages Lodge. He is well regarded as one of Australia’s most experienced bonefisherman when it comes to Christmas Island and knows the place intimately. Over the years Andy has built up strong relationships with the locals and the management and guides of The Villages and is well known on the Island. Because of his vast experience he is in a position to advise any anglers interested in staying and fishing from The Villages Lodge which will ensure you are in a position to “hit the ground running” upon your arrival. In the lead up to your trip you will receive a full and comprehensive set of “trip notes” plus email/ telephone backup. Andy’s aim is to ensure that you will be fully prepared for your trip of a lifetime. Andy will be there to coordinate and host your trip for the entirety of the season which runs from late June through to early September every year” Bookings outside of these dates can still be arranged subject to availability.
